A modified look, but still the old blog!

Dont worry folks.  It is just a little Labor Day makeover for the looks and accessibility of my blog and its contents.  I tried a few months ago to find a posting i had done months prior… but didnt know exactly when, but it was pretty early on.  I scrolled down for days before i finally found it (i think i even passed it up the first time i had been scrolling for so long it skipped by.)  I didnt know if i could add a search or calendar or anything because i did not even bother to look at the widgets preferences.

So, It is a new look (that picture had been bugging me for a couple weeks.  It had gone stale.) with a new header photo of our lovely Sutro Tower and our infamous fog fingering over Twin Peaks / Diamond Heights.  I added my favorite color as the background image because it makes me happy and reminds me of that terrible tasting (at age 9) but had the most awesome color ice cream “Ice Rum” (or something like that) from Baskin Robins in the 1980’s. (and to be accurate, it was a sorbet, not an ice cream). As well as our childhood Volvo Wagon (it was a little brighter AND metalic! I know.. Seriously stylin!).

And… i have added better ways for you all to access the content within my blog.  I think this will be better for everyone.  If it has already been a problem for me just to show a post to a friend and having to have 15 minutes to scroll to find it, so i imagine it is a problem for others too.  I also now have some of the most popular posts listed which is interesting for me too to see (i SERIOUSLY did not think that the stupid “camel toe vs. moose knuckle” post being… by a LONG SHOT the most popular posting!  It still baffles my mind that that term has been searched so many more times than anything else… the state of the world….) too.

If anyone ever has any issues with things like the issues i have encountered, please let me know and i will see if there is something to do to make it more user friendly… but i need feedback from you to do that the best.
